Some Popular and Versatile Essential Oils
Here are some time-honored, traditional uses of essential oils. Different varieties of a particular plant can have different effects. A good way to try then is high-quality products that use only pure oils, with the guidance of your practitioner.

Lavender

Calms, boosts mood, supports healing of irritated skin, promotes sleep.
Geranium

Stabilizes mood, reduces effects of stress, nourishes mature skin.
Sandalwood

Relaxes, soothes nerves, helps acne, dry and chapped skin.
Peppermint

Boosts mood, relieves nausea and the discomforts of colds and coughs. Not advised for the very young, the elderly or pregnant women.
